From the Wellington Planning Commission website: “The Town of Wellington Planning Commission is responsible for developing, adopting, and implementing the Comprehensive Plan to address community development and growth. This includes creating zoning regulations, land use policies, and other guidelines that help shape the community's physical and economic landscape.”

Key Topic from Jan 8, 2024

Commission Officers were elected.

Eric Sartor was re-elected as the 2024 Commission Chair and Tim Whitehouse was elected as Vice Chair.

Director Bird reviewed the residential building permits and lot inventory for 4th quarter 2023. There were no additional permits, however, once the new water/wastewater plant is completed around September 2024, there should be no permit restrictions. Lot inventory in Wellington stayed the same due to a freeze on permits.

At 6:45 p.m. the meeting was adjourned.

Next Meeting: Monday, Feb. 5, 2024 @ 6:30 p.m., Leeper Center, 3800 Wilson Avenue, Wellington, CO.
